Do it anyway

People are often unreasonable, irrational and self-centered;
        Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
        Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies;
        Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere, people may deceive you;
        Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight;
        Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous;
        Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten;
        Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it may never be enough;
        Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God;
        It was never between you and them anyway.

— Mother Teresa

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Sometimes in life you don’t want to do things but you have to do things anyway.

For example, sometimes working out is hard.  Do it anyway
Sometimes loving other people is hard.  Do it anyway.
Sometimes working on yourself is hard.  Do it anyway.
Sometimes being a parent is hard.  Do it the best you can and do it anyway.

Sometimes eating healthy can be a challenge.  Plan your meals.  Follow the plan and do your best.  Do it anyway.

Sometimes life is not going to work out the way you want it to.  Don’t give up and do it anyway.  Get up the next day and give it your best shot.  Make changes and get help when you need it.

If at first you don’t succeed.  Try, try, again.

You have love and light inside of you.
You are worth it.
Take the next best step in your life and let’s have a great Monday.

1) Feel the fear and do it anyway
2) I am so grateful for my life and all its blessings.

3) I love and accept myself just the way I am.

The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you.

“The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you.  Your voice, your vision, your mind, your story, your vision.  So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can.” – Neil Gaiman

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: This past weekend (over Labor Day) I volunteered to be a weekend camp counselor for Kingdom Kamp at Cathedral Oaks near Wiemar, Texas.  Kingdom Kamp is a weekend camp experience for adults with disabilities.  I drove up there on Friday afternoon and gathered with the other counselors for the weekend.  On Saturday the campers arrived.  We went swimming and hung out and did some arts and crafts.  On Saturday night I helped be the MC with the talent show.  Sunday we got up and did church and then had swimming again and Sunday night is the dance.  I got to DJ the dance and that is super fun because the campers arrive ready to dance the night away.  Monday we ate breakfast and then had a closing ceremony and the campers left.

Kingdom Kamp is a very rewarding weekend.  As I left, my soul felt a sense of peace.  My soul felt a deep sense of peace and calm.  When was the last time you cared for your soul?

Caring for your soul is important.

What are some things you do regularly, monthly, quarterly or yearly to care for your soul?

1) I love and believe in myself unconditionally, I have limitless confidence in my abilities
2) I let go of my worries and stress
3) I attract wonderful people into my life
